This Year’s LANDSCAPES Schedule Is Packed With Cutting-Edge Strategies

If you’re like us, you’ve probably missed attending in-person events. If you’re wanting to catch up on the latest trends, don’t miss out on all LANDSCAPES has to offer this year in Louisville, Kentucky on Oct. 19-22.

Opening General Session

To kick things off, Kaihan Krippendorff, author of Outthink the Competition, will share a systematic process and set of proven business strategy tools that he uses on Wednesday, Oct. 20. His presentation will teach you a tested method for developing actionable growth ideas that unlock growth, increase competitiveness and give you the tools to excel.

Education Sessions

On Wednesday, Oct. 20 you can choose between several concurrent Power Sessions. These include “Back to Basics: How a Focus on the Fundamentals Helps Companies Grow” led by Marty Grunder and Vince Torchia, with The Grow Group; “Develop A Second in Command – Scale Your Business while Freeing Your Time As Owner” led by Jeffrey Scott; and “How to Build a Recruiting Machine That Works” led by Bill Arman and Ed Laflamme with The Harvest Group.

Sessions on Thursday, Oct. 21, include “Inside Customers’ Minds: Results of Lawn & Landscape’s Grow the Market Study.” Rather than guessing what your prospective customers’ needs are learn what they expect when they hire you and how to approach homeowners to explain the value of having a professional perform the job.

Also, on Thursday, gain a better understanding of battery technology in the “Battery Tools and Technology: Nothing is New, Except Everything” session. Jack Easterly with Husqvarna will explain the difference between voltage, capacity, energy and what specifications tell you the most about product performance.

Then on Friday, Ben Schloss with Green Lawn Fertilizing will share “10 Marketing Tactics to Grow your Business By 20%+.” Green Lawn has more than doubled its top-line revenue in the last four years without an acquisition. Learn how you can do the same with tactics such as direct mail, SEO and online customer reviews.

Another Friday session to catch you up on new trends is “Key Google Trends You Can’t Ignore and How to Use Them to Drive NEW Customers!” SEO strategies from two years ago are no longer enough to drive the best traffic to your site. Learn if your online display advertising strategy is helping or hindering your efforts to attract and retain high-value customers.

Networking Opportunities

A crowd-favorite, our popular Breakfast with Champions offers roundtable discussions about the hottest industry topics. Engage with your peers and learn from successful industry leaders about best practices and new trends on Wednesday and Thursday.

Also, on Wednesday, you have the opportunity to participate in peer-to-peer specialty discussions. Share tactics for success and learn from others in your field of lawn care, landscape management, design/build, irrigation, or snow and ice management.
