Last week the Maryland Senate passed Senate Bill 198, a pollinator health bill that would eliminate the sale of neonicotinoid pesticides at the retail level. The measure passed by a vote of 32-14.

On February 25, a gunman opened fire at three locations in central Kansas including at Excel Industries, an NALP member company. Four people were killed and 14 were injured in the shooting spree. The town of Hesston, where the Excel Industries shootings took place, has established opportunities to help the victims of this tragedy.

NALP has launched LoveYourLandscape.org, a new website, as the cornerstone of its national consumer outreach efforts orchestrated by the Industry Growth Initiative (IGI).
NALP inducted its board members for the 2016-2017 year on Friday, February 26th, during the Leaders Forum Meeting in Cabo San Lucas. The term of the Board of Directors will start on May 1, 2016.
