NALP is pleased to announce that Dr. Barry Troutman will serve as its new Technical Advisor. Troutman, a 38-year veteran of the industry, most recently served as Director and Vice President of Technical Services for ValleyCrest Companies, where he provided agronomic and horticultural support and training for landscape development, landscape maintenance, and U.S. lawns divisions. Prior to that, he worked in technical and training capacities with Massey Services and ChemLawn. Dr. Troutman also worked with the Professional Lawn Care Association of America (PLCAA), one of NALP’s legacy associations. NALP is thrilled to have Dr. Troutman on the team in a part-time advisory capacity to support the association’s service to members and newly expanded educational outreach to consumers.
