In an effort to help industry companies educate those within their communities about the outstanding career opportunities that exist in the landscape profession, NALP’s Industry Growth Initiative has created Landscape Career Day. This event, designed to be held at any time throughout the year, will encourage children, students, elected officials, educators, and others to touch and feel the exciting work professionals do. To facilitate events around the country, IGI has created turnkey guidance including:
- A 21 page “how-to” toolkit
- Useable collateral to educate youth, teens, and adults
- Customizable letters to invite participation from educators and elected officials
- Promotional materials including customizable posters, banners, suggested social media posts and a press release
- Post event surveys
