Are you currently evaluating your company’s compensation and benefits package? See how you compare to other companies in the industry with NALP’s 2022 Compensation & Benefits Report, presented in partnership with Aspire, A ServiceTitan Company.

This detailed report (based on 2021 data) provides analysis of key compensation and benefits-related statistics for landscape and lawn care professionals. The last time this data was gathered was in 2019. The survey was conducted by Industry Insights, Inc., an independent professional research and analytics firm.

180 companies, representing 400 locations, participated in the study. Some of the stats you can find in this study include the fact that 79.5 percent of respondents in the survey offer a retirement plan. Of companies offering a retirement plan, a 401(k) salary deferral followed by a SIMPLE IRA was offered by over half.

Recruiting and retention strategies are also covered. 81.5 percent of respondents cited referrals as their most successful method for filling open positions.

In addition to data on recruiting & retention; health care costs/trends; retirement benefits; vacations/PTO and holidays; sick and other leave; and sales practices, this report contains compensation-related statistics for common job titles in the industry. The report also covers the median and average changes in compensation from 2020 to 2021.

Users will be able to identify trends within the industry and find companies similar to theirs through numerous data aggregates. These data aggregates include:
