WILN Takeover – Coping with Burnout: Season 3: Episode 13 of Growing in the Green Industry Podcast

In season 3, episode 13 of the Growing in the Green Industry Podcast, members of the NALP Women in Landscape Network (WILN) took over the podcast. Pam Dooley with Plants Creative and Claire Goldman with R&R Landscaping hosted this week’s podcast.

Dooley began working in the green industry at the age of 13, spending summers alongside her grandfather at the local nursery and garden center. She started Plants Creative in 2005 and attributes the growth of the business to working hard, treating people well, fostering relationships with people who share similar values and creating a consistent and focused brand message and identity.

Goldman is principal of R&R Landscaping. She joined the team in 2008 after graduating from Auburn University with a B.S. in horticulture with a focus on design. She is grateful to have the opportunity to work in a field that fuels her passions.

In this podcast, they discuss burnout and finding ways to cope with the emotional and physical aspects of having burnout and trying to be more intentional. They talk about sharing your voice and they touch on impostor syndrome as well as the exciting new conference ELEVATE – an event you won’t want to miss!
