In the 39th episode of the Growing in the Green Industry Podcast, hosts Neal Glatt, managing partner of GrowTheBench, Brett Lemcke, VP of R.M. and Luke Melograno, production coordinator at Mariani Landscape, talk with Jason Becker, LIC, a marketing manager for Caterpillar.

Born and raised in a small town in Iowa, Becker graduated with a marketing degree from Iowa State University, and upon graduation joined Caterpillar. Becker served on the NALP Board of Directors for 6.5 years, and has immense pride in the association, but more importantly in the members that NALP serves. He has a tremendous passion for the industry, giving back, and in the work that NALP members carry out every day. Becker has the pleasure to deal with customer groups around the world and in various industries every day ā€“ but that those in the landscaping and green industry have always been his favorite.  

In this podcast, Becker shares a unique perspective, both as a vendor supporting the landscape and lawn care industry and as a longtime participant in NALP volunteer leadership, including several years as an NALP Board member. The group also stresses the importance and benefits of professional networking and relationships, and how their own experiences have impacted and helped grow their careers.
