Kehne started mowing lawns in high school for a family friend’s small business. In his senior year, he purchased a commercial walk-behind mower and started Lawn Butler as a means to pay for college. He graduated in finance with the intention of working in the financial sector. Since 1999 Lawn Butler has grown by 10 percent or more every year and now has over 90 team members. The company operates debt-free.
