Wood is an association executive who has over 25 years of experience in association management. In his current role, he oversees NALP, which represents over 1 million landscape, lawn care, irrigation, and tree care professionals across the country.
His other roles included serving as senior vice president of business development and industry relations for the Consumer Healthcare Products Association, CEO of the Loss Prevention Foundation, and as vice president, industry programs and services for the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA). Wood also spent a large part of his early career with the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA). Wood earned his bachelorās degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and his masterās degree in business administration from the College of William & Mary.
