Landscape Workshop Acquires A Cut Above Landscape Management

Landscape Workshop has recently completed the acquisition of A Cut Above Landscape Management, based in Columbus, Georgia.

A Cut Above Landscape Management was founded in 1989 with a strong focus on large commercial maintenance work and has developed a reputation for experienced lawn care and quality customer service.

SavAtTree Merges with Nels Johnson Tree Experts and Bozeman Tree, Lawn & Pest

SavATree has merged with Nels Johnson Tree Experts, based in Evanston, Illinois. This broadens SavATreeā€™s Midwest market, serving customers throughout Chicagoland and Northern Illinois.

Nels Johnson Tree Experts has been providing the highest level of professionalism to their customers since 1930. Owners, Erik and John Johnson, along with their team, will remain on board with SavATree as part of their commitment to building and maintaining quality relationships.

SavATree has also merged with Bozeman Tree, Lawn & Pest, based in Bozeman, Montana. This merger allows SavATree to enter the Montana market.

Bozeman Tree, Lawn & Pest has been serving Southwest Montana since 2000. Owner Jeff Pfeil, along with his team, will stay on with SavATree for a seamless transition.

PBI-Gordon Hires Sales Representative

Michael Johnson

PBI-Gordon Corporation has hired Michael Johnson as a sales representative. He will be responsible for PBI-Gordon product sales to golf course and turfgrass management customers in Arizona, California, Nevada and Hawaii.

ā€œWe are excited that Michael has joined the PBI-Gordon team of employee-owners,ā€ says Trevor Radford, regional sales manager for PBI-Gordon. ā€œHis focus, experience, and drive will be a great asset to our valued customers in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Hawaii.ā€

Before PBI-Gordon, Johnson worked for FMC Professional Solutions as a market specialist since 2018. In college, he interned with sales teams at Bayer CropScience and Valent USA. He has a Bachelor of Science in agronomy from Auburn University.

Davey Tree Adds Residential Division of John Lucas Tree Expert Co.

The Davey Tree Expert Company has added the residential division of John Lucas Tree Expert Co., based in Portland, Maine.

Founded in Bangor, Maine, in 1926, Lucas Tree Experts is a third-generation family business. It currently employs 550 people across all of its service lines. The majority of its business is providing vegetation management services to utilities along the eastern seaboard from Nova Scotia to South Carolina.

The residential tree and plant health care division was started in 1982 and now will operate under Davey Tree. It employs over a dozen employees who will join the Davey Tree team.
