Newman founded YardApes, Inc. in 1990 and is a Landscape Industry Certified Technician, Landscape Industry Certified Manager, holds a Connecticut Supervisory Pesticide License, and is a Certified Landscape Designer. Newman serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Landscape Professionals and has also served on several NALP committees.
