Today we kick off the 33rd Annual Student Career Days with a tour, workshops, and receptions. This year we are in beautiful Southern California at Cal Poly Pomona and we couldn’t ask for more amazing weather. It’s 75 and sunny, and we have over 800 students from 60 schools here to enjoy it.
With me this year is the new Chair-in-Training, Brett Lemcke, and we are headed to campus now to check in on the workshops. Later we’ll be rehearsing for Friday’s Opening Ceremony, and then hitting the Student and Industry/Faculty Receptions. At the Student Reception this year, the brave among the group will have a chance to ride a mechanical bull. I will definitely get some pics of that!
