In season 2, episode 47 of the Growing in the Green Industry Podcast, hosts Miles Kuperus at Include Software, Brett Lemcke with RM Landscape, Neal Glatt with GrowTheBench and Macey Robinson with LandCare talk with Teddy Russell, CEO of Russell Landscape Group.

Russell grew up in a family business that his father began in 1987. He professionally joined Russell Landscape in 2002 shortly after graduating from the University of Georgia, Terry College. In 2018, Russell acquired the business from his father and is now CEO of the company. He learned from his father the importance of engaging with the employees as well as the communities they serve. 

He serves on the executive board of Gwinnett Chamber, and chairman for the University System of GA Foundation and National Association of Landscape Professional Foundation. He is appointed by the state of Georgia to serve on the Atlanta Transit Link Authority board and is also involved in philanthropic efforts with PruittCares Foundation.

In this podcast, Russell talks about giving back, putting yourself out there and the importance of taking that leap of faith. As the current president of the National Association of Landscape Professionals Foundation, he talks about some of the exciting things going on with the Foundation. He also talks about how he stays focused on what’s important to his company.
