In the 35th episode of the Growing in the Green Industry Podcast, hosts Miles Kuperus III, system architect at Include Software, Neal Glatt, managing partner of GrowTheBench, Brett Lemcke, VP of R.M. and Macey Wollenberg, branch manager at LandCare, talk with Andrew Ziehler, LIC, owner and CEO of Ziehler Lawn and Tree Care located in Centerville, Ohio.

Ziehler has been in the industry since 1999. He started Ziehler Landscaping in high school with no real direction or plan. After getting involved in NALP and utilizing the Trailblazer program, the decision was made to sell the landscape portion of the business and focus solely on lawn fertilization and pest prevention. Five years after the transition Ziehler Lawn Care is averaging 30+ percent growth year over year and making life more enjoyable for team members and customers by executing on unmatched customer experience.

Ziehler is a past president of NALP and has served on multiple committees such as the Green Industry Conference and Education Committees. He served as the Chairman of the Lawn Care Specialty Group and was a member of the NALP Foundation.

In this podcast, Ziehler discusses his unique year of leading the association, including navigating the pandemic and touches on company growth and evolution, the customer experience, and the benefits of volunteer leadership and association engagement.
