In season 2, episode 8 of the Growing in the Green Industry Podcast, hosts Miles Kuperus III, system architect at Include Software, Neal Glatt, managing partner of GrowTheBench, and Brett Lemcke, VP of R.M. Landscape, talk with Bob Grover, LIC, president of Pacific Landscape Management.

Grover graduated from Oregon State University in 1983. After 15 years working for working in the industry, Grover started Pacific Landscape Management in 2001. In 20 years, Pacific has grown their company to manage over 850 commercial properties with a staff of 300.

As the industry becomes more sophisticated and adapts to the need to reduce our environmental impact, Pacific is an industry leader in the development and provision of sustainable landscape services.Ā They have developed programs for water conservation, reduced chemical use, lower emissions, and maintenance of green roofs, rain gardens and bioswales.Ā 

Grover is the past president of the Oregon Landscape Contractors Association and former chair of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce. Grover is the incoming president of NALP. 

In this podcast, Grover shares thoughts about past experiences and goals for the future, as he steps into the NALP Board of Directors President role on October 1, 2021. The group also explores work/life integration, how young professionals can step into leadership, and how sustainability should continue to be a primary focus for our industry.
