If you want to set your business up for success next year, one of the best events you can attend is Leaders Forum, presented by NALP and powered by Aspire, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, on Feb. 3-5, 2027.
This NALP member-exclusive event has education sessions centered around what economic and regulatory factors could affect your business in the near future, as well as structured networking so you can gain fresh perspectives from fellow leaders.
Why Attend?
Designed for owners, CEOs, VPs and COOs, Leaders Forum presents an opportunity for those at the top to gain a team of fellow leaders from other organizations to collaborate with. Attendees walk away with lifelong connections and friendships as they bond over the realization that they are facing similar challenges.
“Leaders Forum is an excellent way to meet and network with the industry’s elite in a setting which maximizes engagement, learning and fun,” says Tom Heaviland, a strategic advisor with Verde Property Services, based in Santee, California.
This year’s sessions include:
- A keynote presentation from Dr. JP Pawliw, co-founder of Institute for Health and Human Potential and New York Times best-selling author, on how leaders can navigate the important, difficult conversations
- An interactive deep dive into company culture led by the Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center
- ITR Economics’ outlook for 2027 and 2028
- An NALP government relations update
- A business case study led by UVA Darden School of Business professor Sean Martin
Each of these sessions is meant to help drive your company forward and provide you with the insight to capitalize on new opportunities.
Held at the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, part of the experience of Leaders Forum is the destination, which fosters both time to relax and to chat with fellow attendees between sessions. Guest and child registration options make it possible to share part of the experience with a spouse, guest, or family while protecting dedicated time for executive programming and peer connection.
“I personally love the Leaders Forum the most,” says Taylor Milliken, owner of Milosi, based in Hendersonville, Tennessee. “It’s the perfect balance between work and play, and it doesn’t hurt to be at some of the most beautiful places on this planet.”
What’s New?
One key element of Leaders Forum is the networking opportunities, and this year, the program’s networking has been redesigned to make it easier for attendees to connect with peers facing similar challenges. This includes sharing attendee bios and seating attendees with CEOs and leaders of similar company size or shared business challenges.
A dedicated first-time attendee reception will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 3, where newcomers will join fellow first-timers and event ambassadors to get insider tips and build new connections before the Welcome Reception.
The event will include two networking breakfasts and a networking lunch. These are designed to help move beyond the typical introductions and connect with other industry leaders around the experiences, opportunities and challenges you have in common. Tables will feature conversation starters, and participants will be encouraged to identify the ideas they want to put into practice when they return home.
Additionally, there will be a networking time poolside for attendees to chat with each other, along with their guests and families, in a relaxed outdoor setting.
Also new this year is the exclusive workshop, “Building, Managing and Protecting Wealth: Strategies for Today and the Future,” that spouses and guests can attend at no additional cost. The Etergino Group will present this session and explore how successful individuals and families can take a thoughtful, comprehensive approach to building, managing, protecting and ultimately transferring wealth.
Structured to be relevant no matter where you are in your wealth journey, this session is meant to help attendees learn how to plan for future generations and how their wealth is ultimately used. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required for this session.
Register now to take advantage of early registration pricing through Sept. 17.
