Flynn didn’t set out to join the green industry, but once he did, he knew he could make a positive impact. After finishing up his degree in environmental studies from the University of Richmond, he joined up with the Peace Corps, which took him to Paraguay for two-and-a-half years, where he served as an environmental and education volunteer.
After returning to the States, he worked at Wollman Gardens outside of Washington, D.C., Lowe’s Garden Center and Greencare Landscape, both in Scarborough, Maine, before joining Seabreeze Property Services, in Portland, Maine, in 2016. He quickly rose through the ranks and became CEO in July 2020.
