Upon graduating from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in horticulture and natural resources + environmental science, Garcia accepted a position as a garden manager for Southern Botanical in Dallas, Texas. This planted the seed for a successful career in horticultural education, management, and landscape design. Her expertise, passion, and creativity have defined her leadership in the horticulture industry. She has been featured in The Edge, Lawn & Landscape, City Lifestyle, and 2 university-affiliated magazines for Kansas State to highlight her career and passion for plants.
