In season 2, episode 16 of the Growing in the Green Industry Podcast, host Brett Lemcke, VP of R.M. Landscape talks with Jim McCutcheon, CEO of HighGrove Partners.  

McCutcheon graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in landscape architecture. He began his career with Post Properties as a landscape designer. In 2001, he bought the company from Post and created HighGrove Partners which is one of the largest landscape companies in the southeast with over 250 employees.

McCutcheon is widely regarded by industry experts and the local Atlanta marketplace as a visionary leader and dynamic pioneer in the landscape industry. He has 30+ years of experience in all facets of landscape design, installation and maintenance.

As an active member of the landscape industry, he has served on the Board of Directors for NALP where he also served as president from 2014 to 2015. He is also the past president of the NALP Foundation.

In this podcast, McCutcheon shares his unique career path and how overcoming obstacles as a young professional has helped guide and shape his business. He also reveals lessons learned from a career in landscaping, including the importance of networking and sharing (peer groups!).
