In season 3, episode 2 of the Growing in the Green Industry Podcast, hosts Brett Lemcke with RM Landscape and Macey Robinson with LandCare talk with Pam Dooley, owner of Plants Creative Landscape.

Dooley grew up as an athlete and plant lover and earned the nickname “Plants” from her teammates during her collegiate volleyball years. She began working in the green industry at the age of 15, spending summers alongside her grandfather at the local nursery/garden center. Dooleyā€™s passion for the industry led her to a nursery management position in South Carolina and eventually back to Atlanta, where she went back to the University of Georgia to work on her horticulture degree. She started Plants Creative in 2005.

Dooley attributes the growth of the business to working hard, treating people well, fostering relationships with people who share similar values and creating a consistent and focused brand message and identity.

In this podcast, Dooley talks about the how and why of branching models as well as the successes, challenges, and opportunities they present.
