In season 3, episode 21 of the Growing in the Green Industry Podcast, hosts Neal Glatt of GrowTheBench and Macey Robinson at LandCare talk to Trista Imrich, owner of Wild Works of Whimsey.

Imrich is a Virginia Certified Horticulturist and Designer and Level 2 Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional in design and installation (CBLP-ID).  A Navy veteran, this Ohio State Buckeye has a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Management, bringing a unique perspective to the art of landscape design. She worked with local watershed nonprofits doing restoration work for 6 years following the Navy before going off on her own to start her business.

In this podcast, Imrich discusses water conservation and its environmental effects. She talks about opportunities available to be environmentally aware within the green industry and touches on some guidelines and best practices for landscapers when thinking about drainage and things to be aware of when considering plantings. Imrich also talks about tips to convince your clients to understand that overtime being sustainable will be less maintenance.
