Growing Your Business with Events with Claire Goldman: Season 4, Episode 4 of Growing in the Green Industry Podcast

In season 4, episode 4 of the Growing in the Green Industry Podcast, host Brett Lemcke with R.M. Landscape talks with Claire Goldman, principal and head of design and business development for R&R Landscaping, based in Auburn, Alabama.

Goldman cultivated a love for the outdoors and plants as a child following her grandma around the yard and later found her calling as a landscape designer. As her company has grown, her role has shifted to leading and coaching a team while producing a smaller portion of sales and design work. Goldman graduated with a BS in horticulture from Auburn University in 2008 and was named the 2020 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by the National Association of Landscape Professionals. She is encouraged by the direction and momentum of the landscape industry and hopes to be a catalyst for growth and change as our industry seeks innovative ways to improve culture, solve problems, and increase opportunities.

In this podcast, Goldman talks about the importance of event-based education and why company owners should attend industry events. She discusses how connecting with other companies at events has elevated her business, who to bring with you and getting a new perspective on your business. As the ELEVATE committee chair, Goldman also shares a few teasers of what to expect at ELEVATE 2023 in Dallas.Ā
