NALP has launched LoveYourLandscape.org, a new website, as the cornerstone of its national consumer outreach efforts orchestrated by the Industry Growth Initiative (IGI).

The new website has nearly 150 articles, inspiration galleries and videos to educate and inspire consumers, and new content will be added each month. The site also drives visitors to hire a professional in their area. Companies that are members of NALP are included in the search database.

ā€œLoveYourLandscape looks and feels like major consumer websites like HGTV.com, with great information and photos, but the difference is that ours has the strength of industry messaging behind it, touts the benefits of lawns and managed landscapes, and highlights the need to hire a professional ā€œ said Sabeena Hickman, CAE, NALP CEO.Ā  This site is the first deliverable created by the IGI which is tasked with growing and protecting the industry.

Many of the photos on the new website are of projects that won awards through the associationā€™s Awards of Excellence, allowing potential clients to be inspired by the highest quality, professional landscape design and installation.

ā€œWe encourage all industry professionals to share the content on the website and social media platforms,ā€ said Missy Henriksen, vice president of public affairs for NALP. ā€œItā€™s important to collectively promote the professionalism in our industry and make sure the public knows that amazing landscapes are designed and created by experienced professionals, and by doing that we will increase the market share, visibility, and respect for our industry.ā€

The LoveYourLandscape social media platforms include Facebook,Ā www.facebook.com/loveyourlandscape, Instagram www.instagram.com/loveyourlandscape, and Pinterest www.pinterest.com/loveyrlandscape.
