Sun Valley Landscaping of Omaha, Nebraska, recently held a Landscape Career Day event at Beveridge Magnet Middle School. Using materials from NALP’s Landscape Career Day planning guide the Sun Valley Team introduced 180 seventh grade students to the wide range of careers available in the landscape industry.
The landscape careers presentation was part of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Career Rockit event.
Landscape Career Day is a nationwide movement, organized by the National Association of Landscape Professionals as part of its Industry Growth Initiative, to promote careers in the industry and help landscape and lawn care companies attract new employees.
