On Saturday morning, after days of competition, testing, and meetings with recruiters, the winners of the 40th National Collegiate Landscape Competition were announced. Though this really is the type of event where everyone walks away a winner…
More than 50 companies met with their future employees at the career fair and students were exposed to career paths and companies they never knew existed.
Their skills were tested in 28 competitive events, giving them the knowledege and determination they need to excel in their future careers. Find a list of winners of individual events.
Fifty-Nine students received scholarships from the National Association of Landscape Professionals Foundation. And the Foundation also announced the Educator of the Year, Tim Schauwecker from Mississippi State University.

#2 – Brigham Young University – Idaho
#3 – Cuyahoga Community College
The top scoring student was Anna Cordiner of Colorado State University.
