IGI Seeks NALP Members to Help Fill Two Media Opportunities

NALP’s new Industry Growth Initiatiave, has recently connected many program supporters and NALP members with national media opportunities including interviews with HGTV, REALTOR.com, House Logic, Midwest Living, etc.  There are two opportunities that currently need industry representation:

  • Better Homes and Gardens is looking for incredible displays of spring bulbs. They would like to conduct a photo shoot, most anywhere in the country, in April at a comfortable looking residence (not an overly grand estate). The display may not have already appeared in any comparable publiations. If you have installed such a display in a prior year and would have access to it for professionl photos this year, please submit information to Missy Henriksen.
  • HGTV Magazine is looking for customers who may be willing to share their personal stories of what they did wrong – before a professional helped them. Did someone you know fail to anticipate the growth of a shrub, only to have a window covered? Perhaps a current customer cut his grass too short to save time, only to find he had damaged his lawn? Do you have a customer who will confess to wasting a lot of money putting the wrong plant in the wrong location? If any of these stories sounds familiar and you may have a customer interested in talking about these one-time missteps, please contact Missy Henriksen.
