IGI Broadens Visibility for NALP and Its Members

NALP’s Industry Growth Initiative continues to connect with consumers through expanded media outreach and through new social media channels. SouthernLiving.com sought help from NALP for its recent post on “Amazing Southern Lawns” and features work done by several NALP member companies and touts the association’s new consumer website as a source for additional information.

In the past few weeks, Angie’s List has turned to NALP for support with three stories on healthy landscapes, including stories on weeds vs. plants, perennial suggestions, and guidance on helping pollinators.

In addition to article placements in these and other media outlets, IGI has been busy connecting with consumers through social media where more than 22,000 Facebook followers were earned over the course of several weeks. Online attention is now focused on building engagement with the public through Pinterest using various sponsored posts like these.

Lawn and landscape companies and industry suppliers who are IGI investors make this type of outreach to home and business owners possible, strengthening the image of the industry and the association.  If you would like to be a part of IGI, or if you would like the opportunity to have your most beautiful projects to be featured in national publications, please contact Missy Henriksen.
