GIC: The Aftermath

I, as well as most of the PLANET staff, am starting to gain some sort of feeling back in my legs. The Green Industry Conference was a busy one; always standing, walking, and talking. A couple days have gone by since the end of the show, and there is a lot to reflect on. Let’s reflect on the most important aspect, the fact that the GIC was a success!

The show floor is complete sensory overload; there is so much to see and so much to learn. There were so many different types of people and businesses at the show. Everytime I met someone I learned about why they were there and what their business does. I discovered segments of the green industry that I was not even aware of.

I found that it is best to think of the GIC as an excursion. It is a journey into education, new products, and relationships. If you have walked away from the GIC with any of these, then it is safe to say that your excursion was a success. Thanks to all, and I hope to see everyone next year!
