The future of the lawn care industry looks like this…

Okay, we don’t have a crystal ball so we can’t say exactly what the lawn care industry will look like in 5-10 years, but we did gather together some of the smartest minds in lawn care along with futurist Glen Hiemstra to ponder that question at event that is part of FutureScape.

Sure there was brainstorming about drones and robotics and smart lawn sensors.  It may sound fantastical, but this graphic says it all.

But most of the lawn care CEO’s spent a few days thinking about more practical, down to earth, trends in the lawn care industry.

FutureScape is a program created in partnership with Bayer CropScience to identify trends in the industry and help lawn care companies solve problems that impact their businesses.

We had the inaugural brainstorm meeting at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, which provided an inspiring backdrop to think about lawn care.

We had a fantastic doodle artist capture the meeting graphically.  So we’ll share this for now, but we’ll definitely share more in the future about our progress in helping to create a stronger lawn care industry.
